The General Chiropractic Council (GCC).  The governing body of the chiropractic profession.  It is a criminal offence to call yourself a Chiropractor without appropriate registration with the GCC.
 
The Health Professions Council (HPC).  A regulatory body , set up to protect the public. To do this, the HPC keep a register of health professionals (including Physiotherapists) who meet the required standards for their training, professional skills, behaviour and health. Currently  over 200,000 professionals are on the register. 
 
The British Chiropractic Association (BCA) The British Chiropractic Association is a professional association representing the majority of Chiropractors in the UK. 
 
The Charter Society of Physiotherapists (CSP).  The CSP is the professional, educational and trade union body for the UK's 48,000 chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and assistants.
