Mark Prudden Chiropractor

I obtained my first degree in Biochemistry from Kings College London and went on to pursue a career in medical research working initially at Great Ormond Street Hospital and subsequently at the National Institute for Medical Research. It was whilst I was working at the Institute that I developed a back problem that introduced me to the world of chiropractic and led to a dramatic change in career. Four more years of hard university study followed leading to graduation with a BSc in Chiropractic in 2001.

Lowford Clinic was ‘born’ a couple of years later in February 2003, having previously worked in clinics in Bognor Regis, Southsea, Chichester and Havant. The foundation of Lowford Clinic enabled delivery of my vision of a clinic that delivered excellent clinical care in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.

Outside of work I have been together with my Wife Viv, for 40 years as of January 2026 (24 of those years married), Yes it was a long engagement.  We have 2 daughters in their twenties, Lily and Ruby.  Both the girls have either completed or are presently studying degrees in Psychology.  Make of that what you will.

We share our home with 3 furry friends.  Lola our Hungarian Vizsla who will be 11 in April 2026 and Mavis and Winnie 2 rescue Guinea Pigs.  Leisure pursuits include photography, cycling, (which may be a bad thing as it resulted in a fractured shoulder blade in November 2025) and walking Lola.
